AI video generator without credits: how unlimited works
Credits make every retry feel expensive. Here is how credit pricing really works, what an honest unlimited plan looks like, and when credits are still the better deal.
Most AI video tools sell credits. Each video costs a number of credits, longer or higher-quality videos cost more, and when the balance hits zero you wait or pay again. If you have ever hesitated before pressing Generate because a retry would eat your balance, this guide is for you.
How credit pricing works
A credit plan gives you a monthly balance. The tool charges credits per video, usually more for longer clips, higher resolution, sound or premium models. The catch is retries. AI video is not a vending machine: a prompt often needs a few attempts before the motion, the faces and the framing all look right. Every failed attempt still costs credits.
Here is a simple example with made-up numbers. Say a plan includes 500 credits and a 10-second clip costs 25 credits. That looks like 20 videos. If you need 3 tries for each clip you keep, you actually get about 6 or 7 usable clips a month. That is why creators who post daily run out so quickly.
What “unlimited” should mean
“Unlimited” is a word many tools use loosely. Before you pay, check these points:
- No credits at all. If the plan still shows a balance, it is not unlimited.
- No daily cap. Some “unlimited” plans stop you after a fixed number of videos per day.
- Same features for every video. Watch for unlimited plans that only cover a slow or low-quality mode.
- A clear fair-use rule. A reasonable rule only stops automated abuse, such as scripts generating non-stop. It should not limit normal creators.
- No watermark. Unlimited clips with a logo on them are not much use. See our no-watermark checklist.
When a credit plan is the better deal
To be fair, credits are not always worse. If you make two or three clips a month, a small credit pack can cost less than any subscription. Unlimited pays off when you post regularly, run a series, test many ideas or make videos for clients, because your cost stays the same however many retries you need.
| You are… | Better fit |
|---|---|
| Trying AI video once or twice a month | A small credit pack |
| Posting Shorts or Reels several times a week | Unlimited |
| Running a faceless channel or a series | Unlimited |
| Making ads or content for clients | Unlimited |
How AIVidGen works without credits
AIVidGen Premium has no credits and no daily cap. Every engine and all 16 styles are included, so you can retry a prompt as often as you need. A fair-use rule only stops automated abuse. Each clip is 5 to 10 seconds in 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1, with no watermark added.
Stop counting credits. Retry until the shot is right.
Start creatingRetry smarter: change one thing at a time
Unlimited retries are most useful when each retry teaches you something. Change only one part of the prompt per attempt: the camera move, the light or the action. If you change everything at once, you will not know what fixed the clip. The free prompt generator gives you three variations to start from.
A lighthouse on a cliff during a storm, huge waves crashing, lightning in the distance, slow push in, cinematic
