How story-to-video really works
No AI tool turns a whole script into a finished film in one click with good results. What works is a simple production line: you write the story, cut it into short scenes, generate one clip per scene in the same style, and edit them together under your narration. AIVidGen handles the hardest part, the visuals, and each clip is 5 to 10 seconds, which matches one sentence or one beat of narration.
From script to video in six steps
- Write or paste your story. Keep sentences short and visual.
- Split it into scenes. One sentence or one action per scene, about 5 to 10 seconds each.
- Turn each scene into a prompt: who, what they do, where, the light and one camera move.
- Pick one style for the whole story, such as Ghibli-style for a gentle tale, Anime for adventure or Cinematic for history.
- Generate every scene in AIVidGen, 16:9 for YouTube or 9:16 for Shorts. On Premium there are no credits, so regenerate any scene until it fits.
- Edit: lay the clips under your voice-over, add music and captions, and publish.

Keeping characters consistent
Give each character a fixed description and reuse it word for word in every prompt, for example "an old fisherman with a white beard, a red scarf and a wooden walking stick". Keep the style and the time of day the same within a scene. If you have a picture of your character, use image to video to animate it directly; that is the most reliable way to keep a face the same across clips.
Stories that work well
- Moral and bedtime stories for kids, in 3D Cartoon or Watercolour.
- Mythology and legends, in Fantasy art or Cinematic.
- History and true events, in Vintage film or Cinematic.
- Horror and mystery shorts, in Film noir with slow push-ins.
- Motivational stories with sweeping landscapes and golden light.
AIVidGen does not generate narration. Record your own voice or use a voice-over tool, then add it in your editor.
